Man saved from RV Park fire

A Port Arthur man was rescued and suffered severe burns after his RV caught flame Tuesday morning in the Packards RV Park at  2201 Memorial. 

Port Arthur Fire Department responders arrived at the scene at around 10 a.m. The victim was reportedly rescued by a man visiting the RV park and the victim suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns. The victim is expected to survive. 

The victim’s dog died in the flames.

The RV was considered a total loss and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
