Woman hospitalized following Prince Hall shooting

A woman is hospitalized following a shooting at Prince Hall Apartments late Saturday night.

Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said the call came in at about 10:45 p.m. for a shooting at the apartment complex. 

A female was shot and transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. She is listed in stable condition.

The incident is under investigation.

This is the second shooting in about a month at the apartment complex. 

Bobby Francois, 42, was shot March 17 and died two days later in a Galveston hospital.  Najel Hopkins, a 28-year-old security officer living on the premises, was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting.
