Port Neches RiverFest kicks off April 30 with Faith & Family Night including the testimony and music of Stephen McWhirter.
The festival’s opening ceremony is set for 5:45 with Life Church coming on at 6 p.m. Stephen McWhirter takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. McWhirter’s testimony of Jesus taking him from addiction to redemption is a central part of his ministry, according to his bio information.
His song “Come Jesus Come” has been a hit on Christian radio. The song has amassed over 90 million views across TikTok, Facebook, & YouTube, and has been recorded by multi-award winning artists, CeCe Winans and Christine D’Clario.
Local ministries will be on hand with food booths raising money for their programs.
Tickets are $10. Kids 12 and under get in free with a Riverpass.
The mission of Faith & Family Night during Port Neches RiverFest is to bring the body of Christ together and develop interdenominational camaraderie, organizers said.
