Three people are dead and two are injured following an industrial accident of a scaffolding at the Port Arthur LNG site in Sabine Pass, according to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Crystal Holmes.
According to reports, the 911 calls occurred around 2 a.m. after the scaffolding holding the five men gave way, causing part of the scaffolding to buckle, killing three. Previously, two workers were reported dead and another fell and was taken to the hospital; they later died. Two other men did not fall and are not facing life-threatening injury. All involved were reported Bechtel employees.
The Port Arthur Fire Department responded to the call along with Port Arthur LNG response team.

The site has been closed for the day. No names have been officially released so far.
