Nederland teachers and administration welcomed students back to campus Thursday.
Administration said the first day went smoothly for the district’s eight campuses.
At Nederland High School, teachers and principals were helping new students find their way around the campus. In the classrooms, teachers handed out syllabuses and handed out the year’s first assignments.
