A Houston man is dead following a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon.

Paul Dickson, 56, of Houston, was riding a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Texas 73 at Big Hill Road at about 2:50 p.m. Sept. 13. For unknown reasons he traveled off the roadway to the right and continued into the tree line. He was ejected from the motorcycle, according to a press release from Trooper Stephanie Davis.

The driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Judge Chesson has ordered an autopsy.

The investigating Trooper does not suspect any type of intoxication.

The incident remains under investigation.
