PORT NECHES — A Spring Craft Market is planned next week in Port Neches.

VFW Auxiliary #4820 is hosting the fun from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 13 at 511 Grigsby Avenue.

Auxiliary #4820 President M. DeAnn Soderholm said the event also serves as a membership drive.

All of the vendors’ fees go 100 percent to the Auxiliary to help local Veterans through out the year. More than 70 vendors have signed up.

There will be a membership booth set up for those who may want to join the VFW or the Auxiliary.

Food choices include Boss Burger, Got Them Dogs and the VFW booth selling hot links and drinks.

“We will have our very own craft booth, popcorn booth,” Soderholm said. “There will also be items we will be raffling off.”

A wide range of vendors will display and sell everything from custom leather products, handcrafted jewelry, homemade baked goods, laser printing on site and clothing.

“There will be something for everyone,” Soderholm said. “Our special guest appearance will be the Hot Wheels Texas Toot. Kids will be able to take a picture with it.”
