BEAUMONT — 5 Under Golf Center introduces “Wings & Swings Wednesdays” to launch new hot wings and flavors.

New at 5 Under Golf Center, book an indoor Swing Suite or outdoor Toptracer bay to play Wednesdays after 3 p.m., and get a full order of bone-in wings for half the price.

“Wings and Swings Wednesday” combines two of 5 Under’s most popular attractions unlike anywhere else in Southeast Texas — golf and food.

The new wings recipe features the chef’s own, proven, precise cooking method and artful blend of herbs and spices.

The team worked through various bake-then-fry processes and flavor tests to get the new signature taste.

5 Under President, Lance LaRue, says the wings are already a hit.

“We set out to make these really special and distinct, so we took our time with it—from the juicy, tender chicken to the crispy outside crunch of every bite,” he said.

“After a soft launch, we had rave reviews from guests and they were coming back for more within just one week.”

5 Under Golf Center offers Topgolf Swing Suites and Toptracer Range along with a full restaurant and bar in Beaumont.

The Topgolf equipment and branding has been a part of 5 Under since inception, but the revamped menu has gained great attention over the last year.

“Wings and Swings” offers a way to tie in golf and game play with food for an overall unique experience for guests after school or work midweek.

“The new “Wings & Swings Wednesdays” is a good introduction to 5 Under for new guests,” LaRue said. “It’s a fun way for our guests to taste our new, exciting wings and experience the variety that 5 Under has to offer at a good discount.”

The hand-tossed sauces are made in-house including classic Buffalo, BBQ, zesty Cajun dry rub, sweet and spicy Mango Habanero, Teriyaki and savory Garlic Parmesan.

“Wings and Swings” follows a handful of 5 Under’s latest additions over the past year, including the new weekend brunch menu, the new Gold VIP membership, the Senior Citizens 15 percent discount, and First Responders 25 percent discount.
