Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls from April 24 to April 30:
April 24
- Adam Simoneaux, 31, was arrested for warrants and possession of a controlled substance in the 6900 block of 32nd Street.
- Danny Church, 48, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 3000 block of Elm.
- Rebecca Gary, 62, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 3000 block of Elm.
- Fraudulent use or possession of credit card/debit card information was reported in the 5200 block of Whitaker.
- A theft was reported in the 4800 block of Twin City Highway.
- Assault by a threat was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway.
April 25
- Eric Frasier, 45, was arrested for failed to identify giving false/fictitious information in the 3300 block of Canal Avenue.
- A theft was reported in the 5000 block of 32nd Street.
April 26
- David Heard III, 50, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 5600 block of 25th Street.
- A theft was reported in the 4900 block of Twin City Highway.
April 27
- Cristian Martinez, 29, was Arrested for Warrants in the 6300 block of 25th Street.
April 28
- A terroristic threat was reported in the 3400 block of Canal Avenue.
April 29
- Sammy Moreno, 28, was 1rrested for warrants in the 6800 block of Terrell Street.
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 6200 block of Dave.
- Burglary of habitation intend other felony was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- Duty on striking fixture/highway landscape was reported in the 5500 block of West Washington.
April 30
- A terroristic threat was reported in the 6200 block of Dave.
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
- Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 6700 block of 39th Street.
