Severe weather is possible Thursday evening into Friday morning as a cold front moves through the region.
According to the National Weather Service in Lake Charles, La., damaging winds and hail are going to be the highest threats concerning severe weather.
In addition, there is a risk of flash flooding.
A cold front will move through the region Thursday night into early Friday morning accompanied by scattered thunderstorms.
A few storms may become severe Thursday night.
Periods of torrential rainfall could lead to flash flooding Thursday night into early Friday morning.
