Katherine Pickney, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, May 11, 2024 at her home in Port Arthur, TX. She was born August 16, 1948 in Crowley, Louisiana to Alvin and Melina Guillory.

She married the love of her life Lester Pickney on June 12, 1987. From this union were born two girls, Leslie and Courtney Pickney. Katherine was a devoted mother. She supported the girls at school and all their activities at school.

Katherine was a long-time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1966.

Katherine leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Lester Pickney of Port Arthur, TX and two daughters Leslie and Courtney Pickney of Port Arthur; one sister, Gloria McCullough (Rahman Muhammad) of Oakland, CA and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by both parents, Melina and Alvin Guillory.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Memorial Blvd., Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time.
