BEAUMONT — An inmate was discovered missing from the satellite camp adjacent to the Federal Correctional Institution in Beaumont Wednesday.

Frank Juarez, 25, has black hair, brown eyes, is 5-foot 9-inches all and weighs approximately 190 pounds.

The United States Marshals Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other law enforcement agencies were notified and an internal investigation was initiated, according t a news release r the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Juarez was sentenced in the Northern District of Texas to a 168-month sentence for possession of a schedule one controlled substance with intent to distribute.

The satellite camp at FCI Beaumont Low is a minimum security facility.
