A call of shots fired in Port Arthur ended with a man being shot with an arrow Monday.

Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said officers responded to an apartment complex at 901 Main Ave., but when they arrived they learned the male victim left the scene and was at an apartment complex in Groves.

The apartment complex is located in the 5700 block of Gulfway Drive.

Duriso said preliminary investigation shows the incident occurred at the Main Street location.

The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives questioned a male suspect. No arrests were made as of Monday afternoon.
