DAR presents 20 scholarships to area seniors

The Captain William Sanders Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution recently presented 20 high school students with scholarships to sue toward the college of their choice.
The students that received scholarships this year are:
- Marshalei Daniels, Memorial High School
- Skyra Davis, Memorial High School
- Viky Martinez, Memorial High School
- Carolina Samudio, Memorial High School
- Alexis Tran, Memorial High School
- Jaxon Caillier, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Heston Edwards, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Kara Hebert, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Bryan Hernandez, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Ryan Makelki, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Katherine Page, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Emily Ramos, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Jolaine Tran, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Drew Vannett, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Jessika Watler, Port Neches-Groves High School
- Kara Beach, Nederland High School
- Adriana Frank, Nederland High School
- Aiden Le, Nederland High School
- Emma Mattingly, Nederland High School
- Julian Medina, Bob Hope High School
Each year the DAR chapter is pleased to present these scholarships to students graduating from Port Arthur and Mid County schools.
High school counselors are urged to have students apply or contact a DAR member for more information.
