The city of Nederland held its annual Fourth of July celebration at Doornbos Park Thursday evening.
The community gathered to celebrate Independence Day with live music, kids activities and, of course, a fireworks display to cap off the festivities.
“We had a great crowd throughout the day,” said Nederland Parks and Recreation Director Toby Latiolais. “We saw a lot of smiling faces, a lot of good food and had a lot of fun. I’m really happy with how things turned out.”
