A Jefferson County grand jury handed down a number of indictments this week ranging from assaults to driving while intoxicated.
- James Walter Beuhler, 61, of Kountze was indicted for solicitation of prostitution for an incident that occurred March 28.
- Johnny Ray Davis Jr., 36, of Port Arthur was indicted for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more for an incident that occurred July 3.
- Cedric Ted Fontenot, 48, of Beaumont was indicted for solicitation of prostitution for an incident that occurred March 28.
- Danny R. Johnson, Jr., 24, of Vidor was indicted for assault peace officer for an incident that occurred July 15.
- Heaven M. Johnson, 19, of Beaumont was indicted for evading arrest detention with a vehicle for an incident that occurred July 5.
- Shahram Omid, 24, of Houston was indicted for solicitation of prostitution for an incident that occurred March 28.
- Jakale Palmer, 21, of Houston was indicted for fraud possession/use of credit or debit card for an incident that occurred May 16.
- Javon Deshawn Palmer, 21, of Houston was indicted for fraud possession/use of credit or debit card for an incident that occurred May 16.
- Julio C. Perez, 30, of Beaumont was indicted for assault of pregnant person for an incident that occurred July 27.
- David Lee Rodgers, 43, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated assault with deadly weapon for an incident that occurred July 5.
- Darrius Charles Smith, 33, of Beaumont was indicted for unlawful possession of a firearm by felon for an incident that occurred May 18.
- John Edward Allen Toups, 30, of Beaumont was indicted for burglary of a building for an incident that occurred June 28.
- Jose David Vargas-Perez, 39, of Hamshire was indicted for stalking for an incident that occurred July 25.
- Kasey Marie Westbrook, 31, of Groves was indicted for driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age for an incident that occurred May 7.
