Port Arthur police have released the name of a woman who died following a shooting Monday night.

The woman is identified as Ximena Ojeda, 21, of Port Arthur.

Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said the call of a gunshot victim came in at around 9 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of 32^nd Street.

The woman was taken to a hospital where she died.

Justice of the Peace Joseph Guillory ordered an autopsy.

Duriso said there is a person of interest but the person is not in custody as of 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
