DAISY LOUISE BOURGEOIS-KNIGHT

Mrs. Daisy Louise Bourgeois-Knight, age 95, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away Thursday,
December 19, 2024, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. A native of Franklin, Louisiana, and a
resident of Port Arthur, Texas for over 70 years. Mrs. Knight was a devoted homemaker and a long-
standing member of the First Sixth Street Baptist Church for more than 60 years before transferring
to God 1 st  Missionary Baptist Church, where she remained an active member until her passing.

Mrs. Knight was a cherished mother of the church and participated in various ministries, including
the Daughters of Victory (DOV), the Shepherd's Ministry, and the United Board of Missions, where
she volunteered as a seamstress. Her dedication extended to volunteering at the local soup
kitchen, Mrs. Knight was widely regarded as a pillar of the community. Her legacy of faith and
service will be remembered by all who knew her.

Her homegoing service will be held at God 1 st  Missionary Baptist Church, 201 14th Street, Port
Arthur, Texas 77640, Monday, December 30, 2024, at 12:00 PM. The interment will be held at Live
Oak Memorial Park following the service.
