Early Voting opens April 22

Early voting for the May 3 election begins April 22 – 29. The last day to apply for a mail-in ballot is April 22. Here is a list of all the candidates for Port Arthur and Mid-County:

Mayor: Charlotte Moses, Allen “Opie” Valka, Chuck Vincent and Charlie Lewis Jr.

 

Port of Port Arthur:

Navigation District Commissioner: Simeon L. Queen, Reginald Trainer, Fred Owens, Martin Flood, Greg Richard, Randy Randolph T. Martin, Keith Richard and Raymond C. Johnson  

 

Port Arthur ISD:

Board of Trustees: Jacori Narcisse, Kimberly Wycoff-Johnson, Duante Grogan

Proposition A: $222 million for a new Middle School and other various improvements for the district.

Proposition B: $78 Million for new stadium complex 

 

Nederland:

Mayor: Emmett Hollier and Jeff Darby 

Ward 2: Britton Jones and Sylvia Root 

Ward 4: David Guillot and Jeff Ortiz 

 

Nederland ISD:

Board of Trustees: Suzanne Isom, Nicholas Phillips and Todd Perkins

 

Early Voting Polling Locations: Port Arthur 

 

Polling locations will be open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. April 22-25 and from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. April 28-29.
