Beaumont Central senior running back Devwah Whaley has committed to Arkansas.

The No. 3 running back, listed by ESPN, announced his decision at Saturday’s Under Armour All-American Game.

Whaley first committed to Georgia but withdrew that decision after the Bulldogs let go coach Mark Richt. He rushed for 1,504 yards on 210 carries with 18 touchdowns his senior year. The Jaguars went 5-5 on the year and were eliminated in the first round by Sheldon C.E. King.
