Gail Ann Hammond passed on January 13, 2016 at Clear Lake Memorial Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas. She was born on January 6, 1952 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Charles R. and Dorothy O. Hammond. She was a very caring and giving woman. She loved her dog and constant companion, Sasha.
Gail graduated in 1971 from Thomas Jefferson High School. She attended Lamar University, Beaumont Texas. Gail was a member of Clear Lake Methodist Church of Clear Lake, Texas. She was retired after many years as Supervisor of Bradley Corp. in Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and left to cherish her memory are sisters: Susan (Pat) Robertson, Nancy (Louis) Ramirez, and Cindy (Roger) Powell. Also her nephew, James Hammond and niece Stephanie Powell. Cherishing her memory are numerous family and friends that were touched by Gail’s loving spirit.
A memorial service will be held at Procter Baptist Church in Port Arthur, 4401 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 6pm. Officiating will be Dr. Rick Erwin. Gail will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
