Joe B. Kinlaw (77), died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, TX.  Joe B. was 5th of 11 children born to Thomas J. Kinlaw, Sr. and Bessie Mae Davis-Kinlaw on August 3, 1938 in Washington County Texas.  Joe was a native of Galveston, TX, and later moved to New Waverly, TX.  He moved to Port Arthur, TX with his daughters when his health began to fail.
He worked several years at the Cotton Mill in Galveston, TX and was an outstanding Mechanic by trade.  While residing in New Waverly, TX; he was self-employed.  He was preceded in death by his parents, (father) Thomas J. Kinlaw, Sr., and (mother) Bessie Mae Davis-Kinlaw, his son Louis “Jodie” Franklin, and 5 brothers, Thomas J. Kinlaw, Jr., Lloyd Kinlaw, Ernest Kinlaw, Maurice Kinlaw, and Lee Arthur Kinlaw.
Cherishing precious memories are his daughters, Sebrina Kinlaw- Clark (Terrell, Sr.) and Katina Kinlaw; 3 grandchildren, Lasha Franklin Cormier (Jodie’s daughter), Terrell Clark, Jr. (Sebrina’s son) and MaKayla McCrea (Katina’s daughter); 2 great-grandchildren; 1 brother Johnny Kinlaw; 4 sisters Willie B. Kinlaw-Flanagan, Maggie “Sallie” Kinlaw-Jones, Annis Kinlaw and Louella Kinlaw-Norman (Dennis); devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends of New Waverly, Galveston and Washington County, TX.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
