Arthur Barclay, Sr., 89, passed away Saturday, January 23, 2016. He was born March 26, 1926 to the late Christine Stanley and Carl Barclay.
Arthur, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be truly missed. He retired from C.A. Turner Construction, Co.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Annie Barclay; brothers, Earnest Barclay, Roosevelt Barclay, Robert Barclay, John Henry Barclay, Fred Barclay and Joseph Ozen; sisters, Mary Leonard, Lula Calhoun, and Irene Moss.
He is survived by his children: two sons, Gerald (Lydia) Barclay of Keller, TX and Arthur (Mary) Barclay Jr. of Cedar Hill, TX; one daughter Jeannie Barclay  of Port Arthur and a step-daughter, Niecy Kincade of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
His services will be held Friday, January 29, 2016 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Father Etem Sampson, officiating. Located at 911 Abe Lincoln Ave. (Adjacent to Lincoln High School).
Visitation will be at 8AM until 9AM with a rosary recited at 8:30AM. Services will begin at 9AM under the direction of Moody – Harris Funeral Home.
