Nelda Jean Williams, 82, of Port Arthur passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016 in Indiana.
Nelda was born on May 18, 1933 in San Augustine, Texas to parents, George and Cleo Magee. She had lived 60 plus years in the Port Arthur area and was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She retired from TOTAL as a clerk after many years of service. Nelda was a loving person who will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Royce Williams; brothers, Curtis Martin, Ellington Magee; sisters, Agnes Hornsby, Billie Taylor.
Nelda is survived by her sons, Daniel Williams and wife, Alice of Indiana, Mark Williams of Port Arthur; granddaughters, Amanda and Sarah Williams of Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home, with a gathering of family and friends one hour prior to the service time. Rev. Bill Brazell will officiate. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens in Nederland.
