An Alamo, Texas man is behind bars after being stopped with approximately $4.8 million worth of cocaine in his vehicle on Thursday.

Orange County Sheriff’s deputies stopped a white Volvo tractor trailer truck for failing to drive in a single lane around 11:30 a.m. Feb. 11 on eastbound Interstate 10 near the 861 mile marker, according to a press release from the OCSO.

The driver consented to a search of the vehicle and deputies reportedly found 60 bundles of cocaine weighing 132 pounds.

The driver, identified as Mauro Cano Moreno, 30, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, which is a first degree felony. Bond was set at $200,000.

Sheriff Keith Merritt and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office released a statement saying they will continue to combat the drug activities that occur in the neighborhoods and other areas of Orange County.
