Earline Macha

Earline Macha, 94, of Nederland, died Sunday, February 21, 2016. She was born on February 13, 1922, in Denton, to Mary Etta Seeyle Garrett and Earl George Garrett.
Earline retired from the Nederland Independent School District after working twelve years in the school’s cafeteria. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nederland and was very artistic.
Survivors include her son, Danny Macha and his wife, Brenda, of Nederland; grandchildren, Jeremy, Jordan, and Lyndsie Macha, Tammy Dawson, Russell Hebert, and Kent Romero; seven great- grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, Doreen Borel, Jeannette Luce, and Roberta Garrett.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of twenty-two years, Daniel Macha; daughter, Joetta Romero; and brother, Robert Garrett.
A gathering of Mrs. Macha’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 24, 2016, at Broussard’s, Nederland, with her interment following at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
