The NBA Finals are rigged. The league wants a seventh game.

Steph Curry’s wife even saw it with her own eyes and felt the need to post this bit of information on Twitter.

The problem with the information is that it is wrong. The NBA Finals are not rigged. The league does not determine if the series goes seven games.

Does Ayesha Curry remember in 2015 the Golden State Warriors won the NBA Finals in six games? Funny how she was not worried about that when her hubby won the title one game shy of seven.

It is obvious the NBA is thrilled when the Finals goes seven games. More games equal more money and more exposure.

The league does not dictate the series.

Cleveland has tied this series because of several situations that were not around early in the Finals.

First, Andrew Bogut is out. Bogut is a 7-foot, 260-pound center that changes the game on the defensive side of the ball for the Warriors.

Bogut was averaging about two blocks a game in the Finals and had five in Game 2, a 110-77 Golden State win.

LeBron James, without Bogut clogging up the middle, has had back-to-back 40-point nights. Why? Because James is at his best when he can drive down the lane and not have to settle on jump shots.

Bogut’s injury is huge and so is the way Draymond Green has had to learn to play after being suspended for Game 5. Green would be kicked out the game and likely suspended again if he picks up another flagrant foul.

Green is an aggressive player. He attacks. He flails his arms and legs. He is animated.

He cannot be that type of player at the risk of not being in the game at all. So again, the Cavs can attack.

Throw in the fact last year’s NBA Finals MVP, Andre Iguodala, is suffering through a back injury, and it is apparent why the Warriors are close to becoming the first team to ever lose a Finals after being up 3-1 in the seven-game series.

Golden State is a finesse team that is being pushed around, and Curry and Klay Thompson have not been able to stop it the last two games.

James is proving without a shadow of a doubt he is the best player in the league. Curry can shoot and James can do it all. I said it in this space about a month ago, James is the true MVP of the league.

He leads the Finals in every important category. James has 181 points, 68 rebounds, 51 assists, 13 blocks and 16 steals.

James in the last two games has 82 points, 24 rebounds, 18 assists, seven steals, six blocks and only three turnovers.

That is why Cleveland tied the series, not because the league wants a seventh game.

James has taken over, and it is the Warriors who are hobbling just like the Cavs were last year.
