A local golf pro has bonded out of jail after being arrested for two counts of sexual assault of a child.

Kurt Henry Picard, 52, of Nederland was arrested by Port Neches warrants on Tuesday.

A parent of the juvenile victim noticed inappropriate text messages on her phone and police were alerted. The arrest stems from two alleged incidents that occurred in August.

Picard was arrested at his home and has since bonded out on two $75,000 bonds.
