William Frank Oakley

William Frank Oakley, 73, of Port Arthur passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at his residence.
Frank was born on November 4, 1936 in Claremore, Oklahoma to parents Mildred (Terry) and Otis Oakley. He had lived in Port Arthur for 20 plus years; prior he had lived in Colorado for 15 years. Frank was employed with Gulf/Chevron for 35 years as a mechanical engineer and was a member of First Baptist Church of Nederland. Frank was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend who will be missed dearly.
He is preceded in death by his father, Otis Oakley; brother, Robert Oakley.
Frank is survived by his wife, Pat Oakley of Port Arthur, TX; mother, Mildred Oakley of Decatur, AL; daughters, Jessica Robbins and husband, Donny of Port Neches, TX, Gretchen Harr and husband, Lem of Quincy, FL; sister, Martha Newman and husband, Tommy of Decatur, AL; brother, Luis Oakley and wife, Dielta of Johnson City, TN. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousin.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:30 am at Life Church 4600 Jimmy Johnson Blvd. Port Arthur, TX 77642. A gathering of family and friends will be held from9:30 am until service time at the church on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.
