Josh edged out second place finisher Jay Martin by just over a pound and topped Brent Louviere, who finished in third with 24.53 pounds.

The top five was rounded out with Jason Carter catching 24.34 and Jason Smith with 22.78.

“The big news is that there were no dead fish and kayakers have no live wells. The anglers did a excellent job,” said Pat Malone, President of the Yellowfin Elite Series.

A total of 53 fish were weighed in by the 22 anglers.

Louviere had the Huk Heavy Bag of the weekend and took home a tournament total of $1,750 for 24.53 pounds of live-released redfish.
