A 21-year-old man received non-life threatening injuries after a person fired about eight shots in what police believe is a retaliatory shooting Tuesday night.
Port Arthur Police were called to Louis Manor Apartments, 1300 Joe Louis, around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday about shots fired. Officers found the 21-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound inside the apartment complex, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department. The man was brought to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont for treatment.
Police believe the shooting is related to a Sunday night shooting at the complex that left a man with a gunshot wound to the leg.
The victim, who was not cooperating with police, was sent to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment of the non-life threatening injuries.
