Yvonne J. Gabriel of Port Arthur died Thursday, December 22, 2016 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas. A native and lifetime resident of Port Arthur, TX she was employed with Port Arthur Independent School District for over 40 years. Yvonne was a member of New Light Baptist Church.

Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2016 at New Light Baptist Church. Funeral service is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the church with Rev. Louis Hatch III officiating. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

Survivors include four sisters, Hazel Morris, Joyce Hollins and Brenda Johnson of Port Arthur, TX and Ollie Williams of Oakland, CA; two sisters-in-law, Mercy B. Gabriel and Carrie Hall of Port Arthur, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
