Terry Lee Foreman passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Terry was born on October 16, 1948 in Port Arthur, Texas to the late Roy Sr. and Maude Foreman.

He was a graduate of Lincoln High School Class of 1967. Terry earned a track scholarship from the Historical Prairie View A&M University. In 1971, Terry earned his bachelors degree from Prairie View A&M University. He worked for Huntsman/Flint Hills (formerly Texaco Refinery) for 35 years before retiring.

Terry was known in the community or his outstanding running. Among his many accomplishments, he ran many marathons and races. Being a member of the Sea Rim Striders Club, he was awarded many trophies and medals for his performances. Terry was also a member of the great Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

Terry met and married the late Nettie Foreman. Upon this union they had twins, Tesha and Terrance Foreman. In 2009, Terry married Sandra Jones Foreman.

He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Sr. and Maude Foreman and one brother Bennie Foreman. Terry leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Sandra Jones Foreman; a daughter Tesha Sherie Foreman of Houston, TX; a son Terrance Todd Foreman of Port Arthur, TX; a stepdaughter Kenosha Riles (Henry) of Port Arthur, TX; a stepson Isaiah Jacobs of Port Arthur, TX; three grandchildren; and three brothers Jimmie, Anthony, and Roy (Johnnie) Foreman; a special daughter Shenita Keyes (Kenneth); and host of other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Rev. Lawrence Vaughn will officiate. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
