According to the spokesperson for the Port Arthur Police Department, three minors were arrested on Wednesday followed a residential burglary.

In a press release, Risa Carpenter said the call came at 3:19 p.m. about a burglary in the 3700 block of Rachel Avenue.

According to the press release, “Patrol officers immediately responded to the area and took three male juveniles into custody for burglary of a habitation.”

After that, police searched some abandoned buildings and recovered “numerous items” that had been reported stolen at the Rachel Avenue address.

The three juveniles were taken to the juvenile detention facility.

No description or value for the items was released.
