BEAUMONT — Two men, one who was wearing a silver and gold skeleton mask, robbed a group of people playing dice and shot a woman twice late Wednesday night in Beaumont.

The robbery and shooting happened around 11 p.m. at a home in the 600 block of East Pipkin, according to a press release from the Beaumont Police Department.

About 15 to 20 people were inside the home playing dice when two men armed with pistols showed up and approached a 28-year-old woman who was outside the home.

Both of the suspects were holding pistols and suspect No. 1 put a pistol to the woman’s head and forced her into the home where they demanded money from the people inside. Most of the victim’s complied, but one refused.

This reportedly made suspect No. 1 more aggressive. The suspects began to retreat out of the home and suspect No. 1 began shooting. A 56-year-old woman was shot twice.

She was sent to Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

The victims were not cooperative but officers made four aggravated robbery reports and one aggravated assault report.

Suspect No. 1 is described as a black male, 5-foot 8-inches tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a silver and gold skeleton mask, brown Michael Jordan shoes and black gym shorts.

Suspect No. 2 is described as 6-foot 2-inches tall and 170 pounds. He was wearing a black sweatshirt, red bandana and red gym shorts.
