Katoya Monique Harris, 35, of Port Arthur passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. A lifelong resident of Port Arthur, she was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School Class of 2000 and a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Katoya is preceded in death by her grandmothers Hazel Widow and Bulah Tezeno; grandfathers Francis Harris and Clifton Tezeno Sr.; aunts Patricia Polidore and Gwendolyn Bruno and uncle Melvin Dorsey, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter KaMorie Fields; parents, Pamela and Clifton Tezeno, Jr. and Kevin Harris; grandparents, Clarence and Annie Widow, Sr. and Mary Harris; four uncles, Clarence Widow, Jr. (Josie), Elroy Widow, Orlando Widow, Sr. (Carol), Shawn Harris (Kim); seven aunts, Deborah Dorsey, Rose Widow (Willie), Diedre Widow, Suzette Haynes (James), Ruby Young (James), Ruthie Tezeno (Jack), Linda Tezeno; godmother, Ophelia Milo; special sister, Jualea Smith (Erroll); special uncle and aunt, Oliver and Claudia Arceneaux; and a host of cousins, 3 godbrothers, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be 9 a.m. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
