Langley makes 3 tackles for Denver

BEAUMONT — Former Lamar All-American and 2017 NFL Draft selection Brendan Langley saw action in the Denver Broncos exhibition game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday evening. Langley and the Broncos recorded a seven-point victory, 24-17, in a game that was televised on the NFL Network.
Langley finished the night with three tackles, including a touchdown-saving stop inside the 10-yard line. The Broncos surrendered 363 yards of offense on the night. Langley entered the game listed second on the team’s depth chart at corner behind Chris Harris.
Broncos running back Jamaal Charles of Port Arthur was held out of Thursday’s game. Charles was picked up as a free agent from the Kansas City Chiefs, where he battled ACL injuries the past two seasons.
