NPD seeking info on ring thief

- Nederland Police are seeking information on the identity of this man who is a suspect in the theft of a ring from Keith's Custom Jewelry.
NEDERLAND — Nederland Police is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who reportedly stole a ring from a jewelry store.
The man, described as a heavy set black male, entered Keith’s Custom Jewelry, 2111 Nederland Ave. shortly after 1:30 p.m. Nov. 27 and asked to see a ring, according to Nederland Police Chief Darrell Bush.
While looking at the ring the man turned around and ran out of the store to an older model white Jeep Compass or Renegade.

The suspect was wearing a grey shirt and grey shorts and a gold crucifix necklace at the time of the incident.
The stolen ring is worth in excess of $3,000.
