JANICE TODORA ON BOWLING: Valero league still rolling

One league is still bowling through the holidays.
Valero bowled Monday and is taking off until after the first of the year. Energy Country Ford/Allstate League will bowl thru the holidays. I’ll have more info on the remaining leagues next week.
Let’s get going with the Monday night Valero League. Kirwin Melo led all the senior men this week as he put together games of 246, 266 and 234 for a nice 746 set. This week’s top female bowler is Georgeann Richardson. Georgeann had games of 237, 213 and 180 for a 630 series.
Thursday night’s Energy Country Ford/Allstate League had Alice Barnes leading the senior ladies once again. Alice had games of 190, 192 and 202 for a fine 584 set. David Gilley started Thursday night off by causing a bit of a stir. David nailed his first eleven shots before leaving a single pin remaining on his last ball for a 299. Daryl Hughes led all bowlers this week as he owned the lanes with games of 238, 279 and 257 for a 774 series.
Finally Stars of Tomorrow saw Cain Shaw get back on top of his games. Cain strung together games of 246, 153 160 for a 559 set to lead all the youth bowlers.
