Ms. Willie Mae Lavergne, of Port Arthur died Tuesday March 20, 2018 in the graceful comforts of her home. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on April 19, 1936. She was a resident of Port Arthur for over 60 years. She was known for always helping others and her welcoming smile. She was a proud member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Rev. Donald Ray Frank, Sr. will officiate.  Interment will follow at Live Oak Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors Include: Janie Marie Jackson (Washington)–Daughter, Elma Batiste–Sister Other Relatives Include: Grandchildren–Damon, Danion, Jay (Melanie), & Jennifer; 10 Great Grand Kids: D’Asiah, DJ, Caleb, Danion, Brooklyn, Jordyn, Jayden, Keleigh, Haleigh, & Liam.
