SWIMMING: Thompson inks with UTPB

Nederland senior Karley Thompson on Tuesday signed a letter of intent to compete at Division II UT Permian Basin next school year. Thompson qualified for the 5A state swim meet each of her four years at NHS, finishing fifth in the 100-yard backstroke each of the past two years.
