Meanetta Ellen Fontenot Weber, 80, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at Oak Grove Nursing Center.  A native of Grand Prairie, Louisiana, she was a longtime resident of Port Arthur, Texas and a faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church until her health failed.

She is survived by two brothers, Nolan Fontenot (Barbara) of Opelousas, LA and Cornelius Fontenot of Port Arthur, TX; one sister Eva F. Guillory of Opelousas, LA; a very special friend, Mrs. Mary Jack of Port Arthur, TX; members of the Weber family; one sister-in-law, Lillian Fontenot of Port Arthur; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Meanetta is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Cornelius and Mrs. Elue Fontenot; three sisters, Mrs. Louatrice Prejean, Mrs. Berthreasa Chenier, and Mrs. Anna Belle Malveaux; five brothers, Aaron, Stafford, Noah, Calvin and Alvin Fontenot.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Pastor Elijah James will officiate.  Entombment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
