Preston Riggs has finally decided which sport he wants to play in college.

District 22-5A’s boys soccer player of the year will continue in that sport, as he announced on Twitter he’s committed to Angelina College.

Riggs has been a standout in three sports at PNG, earning numerous honors in football, soccer and track. Riggs was the District 22-5A, Area 11-5A and 5A Region III high jump champion this year and placed fourth in the 5A state meet this month. He also earned third-team 5A all-state honors as a wide receiver from the Texas Sports Writers Association.

But in soccer, Riggs scored 40 goals and made 17 assists this season at PNG, earning him second-team all-state billing by the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches.

It is not immediately clear whether Riggs has signed with Angelina.
