Mrs. Julia Ann James, 77 of Port Arthur, passed away June 9, 2018 in Orange, Texas.  A native of New Iberia, Louisiana, she resided in Port Arthur for over 40 years.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.  Rev. Donald Frank will officiate.

She is preceded in death by her spouse Joseph James.

Mrs. James is survived by her children, Zella Gilkey (Raymond Reynard), Eric James (Monique), Orange, TX, Juliana Wilson (Anthony), Anchorage, AK; her siblings, Johnny Thibodeaux and Shirley Thibodeaux both of New Iberia, LA and numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also has extended loving family in New Iberia, Louisiana.
