Rev. Joseph Lee Crook, Sr., 70, of Beaumont, Texas was called home from labor to reward at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX.  He was a native of Port Arthur, TX, he was a 1966 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.  Joseph was employed for 37 + years with Texaco and later Huntsman Chemical Plant.  Joseph was a former member of Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church and a faithful member of Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted and loving wife, Rita Crook; four children, Alicia Crook (Jason Johnson) and Joseph Crook, Jr. (Raneshia) of Port Arthur, TX, Jessica Crook de Mosquera (Oscar) of Colombia and Desiree Gallow (Gregory) of Beaumont, TX: five siblings, Walter Crook (Maragold) of Conroe, TX, Anthony Crook of Port Arthur, Donald Crook (Virginia) and Juliet Crook-Iles of Beaumont, TX and Dennis Crook; four grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Cathedral of Faith Baptist Church with visitation from 8 a.m. until service time.  Pastor Delbert Mack will officiate.  Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery.
