Nederland man shot multiple times dies on Pleasure Island

- Khoa Dang Nguyen, 33, of Nederland died after being shot multiple times on Pleasure Island on Saturday.
Port Arthur Police have released the name of the man who was shot multiple times, then wrecked his vehicle on Pleasure Island on Saturday.
The deceased is identified as Khoa Dang Nguyen, 33, of Port Arthur, according to a press release from Port Arthur Police Department.
Police were called to a major accident at approximately 10:22 p.m. in the 1700 block of T.B. Ellison on Pleasure Island where they found the victim unresponsive inside a vehicle that had struck a guardrail. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Police say the island is included in regular patrols.
PAPD’s Criminal Investigation Division is investigating this death as a murder.
