Man, 56, slain on 25th Street in Port Arthur

A man was shot and killed early Wednesday at a 25th Street address.
In an issued statement, Port Arthur police said the victim was a 56-year-old man.

Police were dispatched at 1:47 a.m. to 2925 25th St. When police arrived, they found the victim with a gunshot wound to the torso.
He was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital but died.
The PAPD Crime Scene was processing the scene this morning.
The Criminal Investigations Division was investigating.
