Port Arthur Police have identified the man found unresponsive underneath an overpass who later died as Joshua Wade Borel, 25, of Groves.

Officers responded shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday to the 6100 Block of Twin City Highway in reference to the call. An initial press release stated there were signs of blunt force trauma but police do not believe foul play is involved.

The man was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

An autopsy was ordered in this unattended death.
