Barbara Gail Vanderhoof, 64, of Port Arthur, died Thursday, March 7, 2019. She was born January 3, 1955, in Angelton, to Anna Faye Curry Baugh and Raymond Bernard Baugh.
She was very crafty and especially enjoyed taking photos, scrapbooking, and sewing. She loved to shop, loved dogs, and enjoyed spending time at the beach. Most of all, she adored her family.
Survivors include her son, John Soliz and his wife, Roxann, of Lumberton; grandchildren, Caleb, Amber, Chase and her husband, Ashton, Madison, and Bailey; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Bryson, and Waverly; brothers, Howard Baugh, of Orange and James McIntyre, of New Edenbury, Arkansas; sisters, Cathy Plimpton, of Port Arthur; Ruth Wonders and her husband, Scott; and Ruby Fuselier, all of Port Acres; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack Vanderhoof; brother, John Raymond Baugh; and sister, Frances Irene Baugh.
Mrs. Vanderhoof’s memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
