Beaumont police Monday were investigating an aggravated robbery at EZ Pawn, 3777 College.

An issued statement said police responded to a “smash and grab” robbery that occurred at 1:57 p.m. Sunday. Three black male suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas covering their faces, entered the business; one was armed with a handgun.

The suspects fled in a black, four-door newer model car, possibly a Lincoln MKZ with paper plates.

The investigation was continuing Monday.
